The 10th-formers of Shostka secondary school №11 have got a chance to visit one of the oldest and most fascinating cities of Ukraine. We were admired by wonderful architecture, enchanting streets and a peculiar Christmas atmosphere of the heart of Western Ukraine.
The young travelers made some excursions about Lviv and its suburbs. We learned a lot about its history, religious variety, culture and everyday life. We were greatly impressed by a fascinating mixture of church building styles.
An evening of Christmas carols performed at the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre was an unforgettable experience for everybody.
At the end of the tour we climbed up the High Castle and enjoyed the panoramic beauty of Lviv.
We felt the real atmosphere of Ukrainian life with its language, traditions and special Western mentality.
